The Need For What We Do
The Stats:
Over 46,000 households in Ohio use Chinese, with the national amount being much higher.
Democracy:
House of Ka believes a true democracy includes every being valued, connected with, and understood.
Founder & President:
Donald Karpowicz
Donald is currently a high school student with interests in politics and Chinese language & culture. During the 2022 primary elections, Donald heard from his Chinese teacher that many Chinese voters in Cleveland did not feel connected to politicians. Thus, Donald founded House of Ka to translate political materials so everyone can participate in our democracy. So far, Donald has led house of Ka through the 2022 and 2024 elections, and now throughout the 2026 primary season. Donald has also lived in Taiwan for 2 months, furthering his connection and dedication to our cause.
